Frequently asked questions

What is Never Layover?

Never Layover is a flight search site that only shows nonstop routes. It returns live round-trip prices for direct flights between any two airports, with flexible-date scanning built in by default.

How is Never Layover different from Google Flights or Skyscanner?

Most search engines treat nonstop as a filter layered on top of multi-stop results. Never Layover starts from nonstop and never adds layovers. Flexible dates are the default — you pick a window and we price every viable combination, not a single departure/return pair.

What's the difference between a nonstop and a direct flight?

A nonstop flight has no stops at all between origin and destination. A direct flight can stop along the way as long as the flight number doesn't change — passengers may even disembark and reboard. Never Layover only shows true nonstops.

How does flexible-date search work?

Pick a date window (e.g. any 7 nights between June 1 and June 30) and Never Layover prices every outbound/return combination that fits, then ranks them by total round-trip cost. You see the cheapest dates first instead of guessing.

Is Never Layover free?

Yes. Searching prices, browsing routes, finding deals from your airport, and a weekly cheap-flights digest are all free. Pro ($9/month) is your personal deal finder — it watches every airport you fly from daily and emails you the cheapest direct flights, with unlimited price-drop alerts and multi-destination deal search.

How do price-drop alerts work?

Enter an origin, destination, and date window. Never Layover checks the route daily and emails you when the cheapest nonstop fare drops by at least $20 (or 5%). No account required — the link in the email is your credential.

How many routes does Never Layover track?

Never Layover tracks 92,775 nonstop routes across 8,832 airports worldwide, with 270,998 historical round-trip fares in our price database.

Which airlines and airports are covered?

All scheduled passenger airlines and airports worldwide are covered, sourced from a combination of airline schedule feeds and live pricing APIs. Coverage skews toward dense routes; thinner regional carriers may be partial.

Does Never Layover charge a booking fee?

No. Never Layover is a search and alerts tool — it doesn't sell tickets. Booking links send you to the airline's own site or to Kiwi.com; we never add a markup.

How accurate are the prices on Never Layover?

Prices come from live flight search APIs and are cached for up to 6 hours per route. Fares can change between cache refresh and booking — always verify the final price on the airline or Kiwi page before paying.
